Welcome to Heather Carey Photography's blog.  I am a photographer based in The Bahamas, working in a few photography specialties which include weddings (many, many destination weddings for couples from around the globe), maternity, children (newborn to teens), family and fine art.  I also work quite a bit in the field of architectural and interior photography - a very challenging genre!

Through my blog I hope that you will connect with my style of photography and story-telling.  I also hope to share with you my many interests along the way, using my photography as the vehicle of expression.

I held my first camera at the age of 13 (quite a few moons ago!) and haven't stopped photographing since. I have been fortunate to live in many exciting places over the years (including New York, San Francisco, Spain, and the UK) and have travelled to countless countries around the world, including quite a few off the beaten path!  

While I am Bahamas based, I am happy to work with you whereever you live on this small planet of ours.
